Sipsmith and Judes have teamed up to make GIN & TONIC ICE CREAM

Sipsmith and Judes have teamed up to make GIN & TONIC ICE CREAM

Can you actually believe it?

If we wrote a list of the things of our favourite things to eat and drink during the summer months, ice cream and gin & tonic would come pretty high up.

So you can imagine our excitement when we heard on the foodie grapevine that someone was making a gin & tonic ice cream.

And low and behold, the rumours turned out to be true!

This most genius of foodie mash-ups is a collaboration between London-based distillery and purveyors of top-notch gin, Sipsmith, and artisan ice creamery, Jude’s.

So, what can we expect from gin & tonic ice cream?

Well Sipsmith told us it combines ‘the delicately balanced botanicals of the Sipsmith London Dry Gin with Jude’s creamy, award-winning crème anglaise base mix, and added a splash of tonic water and lemon.’

Yep, that sounds pretty flipping sexy to us.

And the best news is you won’t have to wait long to give it a go. Jude’s Sipsmith Gin and Tonic Ice Cream will be available in 120ml pots exclusively at Selfridges from the 20th May and online at Ocado from the 1st June 2015.
